2010

Growth

After the global economic crisis, 2010 marks the begin of economic revival.

Growtth® starts the initiative Lean & Green, a combination of lean thinking and environmentally-friendly technology, with immediate success.
To better serve market needs in France as well as Central and Eastern European countries, the Lean Performance SAS and Lean Performance sro are founded.


2009

World Economic Crisis
In preparation for the post-crisis situation Growtth® strengthens the team with powerful expertise in the optimization of marketing and sales processes. The classical Growtth® approach finds continuing relevance in these difficult times.


2008

Management Buy-Out
Members of senior management take over the shares of Growtth® Consulting Inc. The US company is wound-up and Growtth® activities world-wide are managed from Europe.


2007

New Markets
Growtth® wins customers in new markets. The international Growtth® team is enlarged with additional experts and gains market share in Airline Catering, Food & Beverage and Health Care.


2006

Lean Administration
Indirect and administration processes become increasingly important as the necessity to offer customers holistic improvements increases. Growtth® expands its approach with the Lean Administration concept and is in the position to offer a complete Lean Enterprise concept.
An increasing number of international assignments in the Americas and Asia allow Growtth® to gain invaluable experience in diverse business cultures.


2005

Central & Eastern Europe
Growtth® strengthens its presence in Central & Eastern Europe, the Lean Consulting Partners – Central Europe s.r.o. is founded to better serve customers and their subsidiaries in the region with local consultants. Lean consultancy is complemented by lean training.


2003

Training & Qualification
As additional support for customers when building their own CIP organization, Growtth® Consulting founds the Growtth® Academy (renamed Lean Alliance in 2006). The training emphasis is on the qualification of key personnel as Lean Professionals.


2000

Lean outside the automotive industry
After extraordinary success in the automotive industry Growtth® Consulting gains customers in non-automotive markets, and proves that Lean Production can be successfully applied across a wide range of industries, and that it is not a formula for success unique to the automotive sector.


1996

Growtth® Consulting Europe GmbH is founded
Growtth® Consulting Europe GmbH is founded as a joint-venture between Growtth® Consulting Inc. in Atlanta, USA and a German consultancy based in Starnberg, near Munich, as an independent Lean Management consultancy.  
The business purpose is to market the Growtth® approach throughout Europe.


1995

Growtth® Consulting Inc. in Atlanta/USA is founded
Growtth® Consulting Inc. is founded with the business purpose to establish the Growtth® approach outside Freudenberg in the US market.


1993

Growtth® as Production System
Freudenberg
, the leading global automotive supplier for sealing and vibration control products adopts Growtth® as its proprietary Production System.


1989

Start of Growtth® Activities in the US

The German automotive supplier Freudenberg and the Japanese NOK establish a joint-venture - Freudenberg-NOK General Partnership FNGP in the USA. NOK introduces experience with Kaizen, based on the Toyota Production System, to the partnership.


Early ’80s

In the early ’80s Freudenberg’s interest is awakened by the Kaizen activities of their Japanese partner companies.
